He holds a degree in Law from the University of Malaga and has also completed several master’s degrees, including Business Management and Administration, Senior Management of Leading Companies and Senior Management of Social Enterprises. He has been a councillor in Malaga City Council since 2000, when he replaced, at the age of 25, the councillor José María Martín Carpena when he was murdered by ETA. 2 In the last two municipal elections he has occupied the number two position. 3 Between 2000 and 2005 he was president of the New Generations of the PP in Malaga. He is currently a member of the board of directors and the regional committee of his party and has been president of the Malaga PP since 2008 and of the Costa del Sol Tourist Board. He has been the president of the Diputation of Malaga between 2011 and 2019.
